ASHRAE Level II Energy Audits for the Squaxin Island Tribe, Shelton, Washington

As part of the SIT’s energy efficiency program, OurEvolution engineers provided ASHRAE Level II energy assessments of SIT Tribal facilities  including the Tribal Administration Building, Elder’s Community Building, Tribal Museum and Artifacts Warehouse, and elementary and high schools.  In addition to on-site energy audits of these facilities which required assessment of existing envelope, HVAC, domestic hot water, lighting, and process loads, the OurEvolution team completed building energy performance models of the target structures, utility billing analyses, energy conservation measure (ECM) development, economic analyses and prioritization.  Recommended ECMs included: building controls and logic modifications, HVAC distribution improvements, lamp and lighting controls upgrades, refrigeration and boiler replacement.  The assessment identified approximately $47,000 in projected annual energy savings.
