As part of the Forest Service’s drive to be more sustainable, Ourevolution engineers provided on site energy audits on five historic structures within the Wind River and Trout Lake Ranger Districts. These audits were then used to complete a feasibility study which identified the most cost effective energy conservation and efficiency measures (ECMs) to be implemented within the buildings.
Based on the results of this study, OE engineers worked with Forest Service Archaeologists to complete the final designs and oversee the installation of the ECMs in way that compliments the historic nature of the structures. ECMs included: attic and floor insulation, high-efficiency heat pumps, and window treatments.
